INDIANAPOLIS AND CHICAGO – enVista, a leading supply chain, retail and IT consulting firm, announced today at the RILA Retail Supply Chain Conference that it attained record revenue and met its top line revenue target for 2014 and earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) objectives. The company’s considerable growth follows 53 percent growth in 2013 and a consistent 33 percent compound annual growth rate since the company’s founding in 2002. enVista was recognized in 2014 by Inc. magazine for the fourth consecutive year as one of the fastest growing (#1337), privately held companies. enVista’s success is attributed to its extensive supply chain and IT consulting offerings focused on driving customer service and profitability and eliminating waste for retailers, distributors and manufacturers.
enVista simultaneously grew its associate base by 40 percent through hiring and acquisition, totaling 102 new resources in 2014 and finishing the year with 354 associates globally. The firm is on target to hire an additional 60 associates this year. enVista has received the Inc. Hire Power award for jobs creation, and the company is also recognized as a top workplace in Indiana based on a culture that encourages accountability, entrepreneurialism and transparency.
enVista President and CEO Jim Barnes said, “enVista has grown based on the results we provide for our clients in C-level leadership and supply chain executives. We continue to build out solutions that enable our clients to be nimble and extremely competitive in today’s world of dynamic omni-channel commerce. As a result, our clients realize significantly improved customer service and profitability and reduced waste.”
Contributing to enVista’s 2014 success were enVista’s Supply Chain Consulting and Transportation Solutions practices and newly formed Enspire Commerce Software division, which is focused on mid-market retailers and distributors.
enVista expanded its international footprint by establishing an office in Ellesmere Port, UK with 20 consultants. Barnes adds, “Our UK office allows us to deliver our Supply Chain and Transportation services within Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). It is important we deliver our solutions locally versus more than 3,000 miles away. Understanding the vast cultural differences within EMEA and having resources focused in this location is a key differentiator.”
Barnes continues, “We are planning for a 26 percent growth trajectory in 2015, and we are off to a great start; we made internal investments in 2014 that have created a platform to grow on and that allow us to achieve our next three year strategic plan. We have our eye on a number of strategic acquisition targets that will allow us to accelerate our growth and round out our solutions and services footprint.”
enVista’s major initiatives for 2015 include building out its Enterprise Commerce® Management Platform and integration framework B2B Mailbox, which enables retailers, distributors and manufacturers to use a single platform to orchestrate, route and optimize orders across multiple trading partner communities and from multiple order capture points.
John Stitz, senior managing partner and co-founder, said, “Our backlog is strong, which will allow us to exceed revenue of $75 million in 2015, and we will continue to make strategic investments that strengthen the value we bring to our clients. Major and mid-market retailers and distributors such as Tory Burch, Performance Bike, One Kings Lane and Bradshaw Industries are deriving significant value from partnering with a consulting firm that can tailor solutions that meet their needs regardless of if it is our technology or a best of breed solution.”
