enVista, a global software, consulting, managed services and automation firm, optimizing and transforming both physical and digital commerce, today announces that Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, selected enVista as a recipient of the Top Supply Chain Projects Award for 2021. This is enVista’s ninth year being among SDCE’s top supply chain projects.
The Top Supply Chain Projects (formerly known as SDCE 100) spotlights successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across a range of supply chain functions. These projects show how supply chain solution and service providers help their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for success.
This year, enVista is recognized for its work with a national furniture and mattress retailer, deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Power BI to aggregate data across the organization, improve the customer experience and drive sales. In addition to Microsoft D365, enVista implemented our cloud-based unified commerce platform, Enspire Commerce, leveraging enVista’s proven omnichannel consulting experience.
enVista CEO, Jim Barnes, said, “It is an honor to have this project recognized as one of SDCE’s top supply chain projects of the year. Integrated and intelligent ERP and unified commerce systems have been at the crux of success for all supply chains this year, and the rewards of having both assets are endless.”
Barnes continued, “From this project alone, the retailer saw simplified returns processing, decreased checkout times from 15 minutes to three minutes and enabled omnichannel strategies such as store transfers, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store. More than anything, we are elated to see the benefits the retailer has reaped from this project and are excited to watch the company’s continued growth down the line.”
Marina Mayer, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics said, “The supply chain industry has been challenged with a host of supply chain disruptions over the last year. Yet, the winners on this list continued to re-tool and innovate,” Mayer continued, “Whether it be moving a customer to a cloud-based solution or implementing a more sustainable shipping option, these top supply chain projects reflect the supply chain industry’s strength and resilience to overcome disruptions and work better, smarter and more efficiently in the years ahead.”
