INDIANAPOLIS – enVista, a global software, managed services and consulting solutions firm, optimizing and transforming both physical and digital commerce, announces that Food Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the global cold food supply chain, recognizes three of enVista’s supply chain leaders, Kurt Leisman, Kyle McAndrew and Riley Breese as 2021 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain.
This award recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain. This year’s list includes individuals who have met and exceeded expectations in safety, efficiency, productivity and innovation throughout the global cold food supply chain.

Kurt Leisman, senior director, supply chain strategy, has more than 30 years of strategy consulting experience. Leisman has worked with multiple grocery chains, in both the U.S. and Canada, to support their network supply chain strategies. For one grocery chain in particular, Leisman developed a strategy to leverage available surplus cooler space in the client’s network to move its beef program from a third-party to a centrally owned location, saving the grocery chain millions of dollars in storage and handling charges, while also improving the service levels to its stores.
Kyle McAndrew, enVista director, supply chain solutions, has more than 10 years of experience in system implementation, process improvement, modeling and optimization and more, across multiple industries, including the cold food supply chain. In addition to McAndrew’s successful implementation of transportation strategies and systems for an American privately held supermarket chain and one of the largest importers and distributors of fresh produce and specialty foods, he has guided 150 food suppliers and five major U.S. food distributors through the process of adopting GS1 standards to enable food traceability.
Riley Breese, enVista project manager, has extensive experience implementing warehouse management software across many industries, including the food and retail industries. In the past year, Breese has facilitated warehouse management projects with three cold storage clients, including one of the largest meal-kit providers, as well as a leading food distributor in the U.S.
