    About this Notice<\/h2>

    Welcome to enVista! This privacy notice sets out how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information during the course of your employment or application process, in compliance with our obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA)) and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act). This notice applies to all employees, including full-time, part-time, and temporary employees of enVista located in California and India.<\/p>

    This notice supplements other Human Resources-related policies and notices, that apply to all enVista employees and that can be viewed at provide directions where HR policies are located if applicable.<\/p>

    This Privacy Notice applies to both our online (for example, when you apply for a job via an online portal) and offline information practices. Under California law, the term “personal information” refers to any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to you or your household, directly or indirectly. Under India law, the term “personal information” (used interchangeably with the term “personal data”) refers to any information about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such information.<\/p>

    Our Information Practices<\/h2>

    a) Personal Information We Collect About You<\/strong><\/h3>

    We only process personal information with your consent, and we only collect it for the purposes of supporting your employment application with us and during the course of your employment.<\/p>

    We collect and use the following categories of personal information:<\/p>

For our job applicants applying online, we may also collect online identifiers, such as an Internet Protocol address.<\/td><\/tr>
    B. Consumer records information.<\/strong><\/td>We may collect your name, signature, address, telephone number, employment, and financial information (for payroll purposes).<\/td><\/tr>
    C. Protected classification characteristics under state or federal law.<\/strong><\/td>

    We may collect information regarding your race, sex, gender, gender identity, marital status (self-select for tax information), medical conditions or related medical information (for associates, employees or family members insured under enVista’s self-managed health plan, or when applying for disability benefits), military or veteran status, age (date of birth), disability, and familial status.<\/p>

    enVista’s India office may receive claims data (e.g., name plus claim made, payee, and diagnosis\/description of treatment) for employees in India only.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    D. Commercial information<\/strong><\/td>Not collected.<\/td><\/tr>
    E. Biometric information<\/strong><\/td>For employees in our Hyderabad, India office only, we may collect your fingerprint data to control access to our facilities.<\/td><\/tr>
    F. Internet or other electronic network activity<\/strong><\/td>For our job applicants applying online, we may collect information on your interaction with our job portal website, such as: browsing history or search history; interaction with hyperlinks, widgets and other features, and device information (such as operating system and its versions, device model, operating system settings, unique device identifiers, crash data, software and hardware attributes), cookies and similar technologies. For employees, we may also collect information about any actions you make on company-owned technology.<\/td><\/tr>
    G. Geolocation data<\/strong><\/td>Approximate geolocation data (such as city and state from which you are accessing company-owned devices or services), time zone, and language settings. We do not collect precise geolocation.<\/td><\/tr>
    H. Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.<\/strong><\/td>This may include photographs, video recordings, and voice recordings of employees and contractors. This information may be captured through closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance cameras at company facilities, security badge photo systems, recorded video conferences and meetings, voicemail systems, and training or promotional materials featuring employee participation. Audio and visual recordings may also be collected during customer service calls for quality assurance purposes.<\/td><\/tr>
    I. Professional or employment-related information<\/strong><\/td>We may collect information regarding your current or past job history or performance evaluations, education history, hire date, salary, benefits elections, and retirement account information. Salary information may be shared with the U.S. government in the visa process.<\/td><\/tr>

    K. Educational information<\/strong><\/td>When you inquire about or apply for a career with us, we may collect educational information about you, such as that provided on your resume or in transcripts you provide to us.<\/td><\/tr>
    L. Sensitive personal information<\/strong><\/td>We may collect “sensitive personal information” as defined under certain laws, such as government identifiers (Social Security numbers); financial account numbers; the contents of mail, email, and text messages not directed to enVista to the extent an employee uses our information systems to send or receive such mail, email or messages; biometric information used for identification (India only); medical and health-related data; data regarding racial or ethnic origin.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

    As an employer, enVista collects personal information of employees and job applicants from the following categories of sources:<\/p>

    Directly from individuals:<\/strong> We collect information directly from you when you provide it during the application process, interviews, onboarding, or throughout your employment. This may include information submitted on resumes, application forms, or through our communication channels.<\/p>

    Service providers:<\/strong> We may obtain personal information from our service providers or vendors, such as background check providers, recruitment agencies, or technology solution providers, to verify qualifications, conduct reference checks, facilitate the hiring process, and to prevent and\/or resolve disruptions of work devices.<\/p>

    Publicly available sources:<\/strong> To the extent permissible under the applicable federal, state, and local laws, we may gather information from publicly available sources, such as professional networking platforms or websites, or your social media accounts, to gain insights into your professional background, work history, work ethic, communication skills, or overall suitability for a position.<\/p>

    Company systems and records:<\/strong> During your employment, we may collect personal information from internal systems and records, including HR databases, keycards and access management systems, timekeeping systems, performance evaluations, and other employment-related platforms.<\/p>
