FCC Adopts $200 Million to Combat COVID-19<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The good news is, the Federal Communications Commission adopted the $200 million COVID-19 Telehealth Program in a\u00a0report and order released April 2, 2020<\/a>. The\u00a0COVID-19 Telehealth Program<\/a>\u00a0was established by the commission in response to the public health emergency brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this grant program, the Commission will distribute the $200 million Congress appropriated funds under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, to help health care providers deliver telehealth services to patients at their homes or mobile locations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic<\/p>\n\n\n\n
