enVista<\/a>, a global software, consulting, managed services and automation firm optimizing and transforming physical and digital commerce, today announces that Supply & Demand Chain Executive<\/em>, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, has recognized enVista\u2019s Vice President of Sales, Deanna Kaufman, and Director, Distribution Centre Optimization, Crystal Welker, as winners of its 2021 Women in Supply Chain award.<\/p>\n

The Women in Supply Chain award honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company\u2019s supply chain network. This year\u2019s list includes individuals who have helped supply chain clients and the supply chain community at large prepare to meet many of today\u2019s and tomorrow\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n

Kaufman has an extensive, 30-year background in IT and supply chain consulting<\/a>, as well as ecommerce and omnichannel strategy. Since joining enVista, Kaufman has been integral in projects including demand forecasting and analysis, inventory planning and allocation, carrier diversification, transit time optimization, and successfully keeping supply chain and transportation operations running at peak efficiency amid COVID-19-related challenges.<\/p>\n

Welker applies her more than 25 years of supply chain, process improvement and facility design experience to help organisations optimise their warehouses and operations. In particular, Welker and her team recently completed a network analysis project which resulted in over $4 million in transportation savings for the client and increased the client\u2019s percentage of shipments within two days from 60 percent to 95 percent.<\/p>\n

With three enVista women recognized last year and two this year, enVista continues to prioritize hiring and developing diverse top talent in supply chain and commerce.<\/p>\n
