Reading Time: 2 minutesINDIANAPOLIS – enVista, a leading supply chain consulting and IT services firm, today announces it has been named to the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100, a list which highlights the 100 Great Supply Chain Projects of 2015. The magazine’s editorial team selected enVista based on results the firm delivered to Federated Co-operatives, LTD (FCL), a multi-billion dollar wholesaling, manufacturing, marketing and administrative co-operative owned by autonomous retailers across Western Canada. enVista helped FCL implement a comprehensive Workforce Management solution throughout five distribution centers.
As part of the Workforce Management solution, enVista developed engineered labour standards and preferred methods, implemented an advanced labour management system (LMS) through Priya, and trained FCL’s employees. As a result, FCL experienced a 25 percent increase in productivity for all tasks, a reduction of over 5,000 hours of labour during the first six months of the project, a reduction in overtime expenses by tens of thousands of dollars annually, and a significant reduction in its warehouse expense to sales ratio.

Supply & Demand Chain Executive received more than two hundred entries for this award. The submissions were evaluated by the magazine’s editorial staff primarily based on ambitiousness/scope of the project, creative application of technologies/solutions/services used, extent of the business results/impact, and clarity of submission.
This is enVista’s fourth consecutive year on the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 list. The company won last year for an entire supply chain transformation project that optimised processes, technology and the flow of merchandise for Hibbett Sports.
