enVista’s CEO, Jim Barnes, said, “Michelle joined the enVista team in March and immediately hit the ground running not only to maintain financial stability for the company in turbulent market conditions but to strategize for long-term growth. Michelle played an integral role in securing capital funding which will allow us to invest in enVista’s talent initiatives, as well as the development of our transportation and commerce platforms to support strategic growth objectives. I am thrilled for Michelle’s achievement and fortunate to have such a hard-working and talented chief finance officer who shows up daily to push enVista forward.”
Demarco said, “I am incredibly honored and humbled to be nominated as an honoree for IBJ’s CFO of the Year Award. One of the first things I noticed about enVista upon joining the company was its determination to foster resilience and agility throughout its business and the business of its clients. It has been a pleasure to work with my team to further solidify that resilience and ensure continued growth moving forward.”
In addition to Demarco’s many professional achievements in her more than two decades working in the finance industry, Michelle remains an active member of the philanthropic community, contributing significantly to her church’s Haitian ministry and leading the Gift of Water subgroup, which provides clean drinking water with low-technology solutions to over 900 households.
