Reading Time: 2 minutesINDIANAPOLIS AND CHICAGO – enVista, a leading supply chain consulting and IT services firm, today announces at ProMat 2015 that Jim Caleca has joined the beverage operations group within enVista’s Design Build Solutions Practice as director of strategic initiatives.
Caleca brings more than 25 years of experience within the beverage distribution industry, including strategic planning, sales and marketing, wholesale operations, acquisition integration, functional alignment, distribution planning, leadership development, and project management. He specializes in the planning and implementation of systems that create alignment and drive efficiencies across all organisational functions. In his new role, Caleca is tasked with developing strategic alliances and securing new business opportunities in the food and beverage industry.

Caleca most recently held the position of Vice President, Corporate Services and Business Development for West Side Beer Distributing, a more than 13 million case, multi-brand beer distributor headquartered in Romulus, MI that operates four distribution centers. In that role, Caleca was responsible for alignment, which included the integration of new RAS and WMS during a four-year growth period that saw West Side Beer nearly double in size. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing for West Side Beer. From 1997 through 2007, Caleca also held the positions of Vice President, Sales and Marketing and Director of Marketing for Central Distributors of Beer.
