enVista’s project is spotlighted among transformational supply chain projects delivering bottom-line value
INDIANAPOLIS (July 26, 2022) – enVista, a global software, consulting, managed services and automation firm optimizing and transforming physical and digital commerce, today announces Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, selected enVista as a recipient of the 2022 Top Supply Chain Projects Award for its warehouse management system (WMS) implementation project for Big Rock Sports with Körber.
enVista’s WMS Implementation team partnered with Körber’s development team to provide client-side testing, training, operational planning and project management services to upgrade Big Rock’s legacy WMS, improving inventory and picking accuracy and reducing fines and chargebacks while lowering overall labour costs.
enVista’s Sr. Director, Technology, Amit Kirpalani, said, “It was an honor working with Big Rock to rapidly deliver a top-tier WMS to facilitate success in meeting current and future customer and business objectives. Leveraging our unique enABLE methodology, we guided the project through the implementation lifecycle in four distinct phases – assess, build, learn and execute. This allowed our team to take the necessary time and steps to learn Big Rock’s most important business objectives and enable those objectives with maximum efficiency and profitability.”
Shannon Adams, Big Rock Sports’ VP of information technology, said, “After more than two years of planning and COVID-19 interruptions, we went live on our new WMS software and are thrilled with the results. I cannot recommend enVista enough as a valued partner for helping us get this project through the first checkpoint.”
Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics, said, “The past 18 months have been a tumultuous time for U.S. supply chains, but the solutions providers on this list have partnered diligently with customers and clients to streamline processes, implement emerging technology and deliver results, ultimately improving bottom lines and keeping supply chains afloat. For many of these collaborations, it’s about achieving full visibility, complete forecasting, end-to-end leverage and sustainability.”
