enVista Launches Premier Warehouse Management System (WMS) RFP Empowering Supply Chain Leaders to Select the Right WMS for Their Business

Reading Time: 2 minutes

enVista RFP leverages unmatched expertise and first-hand experience to select the optimal WMS and maximize Return on Investment

INDIANAPOLIS (June 9, 2022) – enVista, a global software, consulting, managed services and automation firm optimizing and transforming physical and digital commerce, today announces the launch of its Premier Warehouse Management System RFP. enVista’s global team of WMS selection and implementation experts leveraged their over 500 WMS selection and implementation project successes, unmatched domain expertise and deep technical and functional expertise to help supply chain leaders get started on the right path to selecting the best WMS for their businesses.

Warehouse management systems control the flow of inventory into, within and out of a company’s distribution centre (DC) or multiple DCs. Because inventory is typically the biggest capital investment a company makes, it is critical to have a WMS that is uniquely tailored to a DC’s inventory flow needs for maximum return on investment.

enVista’s RFP is designed to help supply chain leaders make the right WMS selection. It is important that key product, functional, technical and resource requirements are outlined in an RFP, including location management, receiving, replenishment, inventory control and more. This guide will help users successfully navigate the selection process and make certain that the requirements important to their business are documented throughout.

enVista’s EVP, Technology Group Leader, Davison Schopmeyer, said, “In an effort to help supply chain leaders consider key criteria, our WMS consulting team leveraged its extensive, deep domain WMS selection and implementation consulting expertise to develop a highly detailed and actionable WMS RFP template. It is critical for companies to select the optimal WMS to meet their long-term business requirements. This complimentary guide will help leaders assess features and functions they need to improve labour efficiencies, throughput, inventory allocation, gross margin return on inventory investment and other KPIs critical to improving visibility, control, profitability service levels and competitive advantage.”

The complimentary WMS RFP includes much of the criteria companies need to consider in a WMS selection; however, a comprehensive version is available following a complimentary consultation with enVista’s consulting team. enVista’s experienced consulting team provides software selection and implementation across all supply chain execution systems, including warehouse management, labour management, order management, transportation management and warehouse execution and control systems. Its WMS selection and implementation team brings 20 years of experience and leverages a data-driven, vendor-agnostic approach and a proven methodology to ensure a successful project from start to finish. The WMS RFP is one piece of the puzzle that enVista provides to warehouse leaders in order to facilitate a smooth WMS selection process.
