The Hidden Value in EWM

  • Date: Tuesday, May 7, 2019
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. ET – 11:40 a.m. ET
  • Speakers: Tom Stretar, Vice President of Supply Chain, enVista; Richard Kirker, Solutions Manager, SAP
  • Location: Room 329
  • Abstract: Implementers of SAP EWM have 15 percent labor savings sitting on their shelves. In this session, enVista and SAP will discuss how EWM’s robust LM capabilities – can generate undiscovered labor savings, increase productivity to the level it could be, and generate increased visibility into the workforce.

Stretar said, “During this session, we will discuss how the LM tool embedded within EWM provides you with a series of functions to assist in generating cost savings and increasing visibility across your entire warehouse, enhancing the comprehensive warehouse management system. We’ve found that most users of EWM are underutilizing the tool, unaware of the types of savings which could be up to 15 percent.”

enVista to Share SAP EWM Expertise at ASUG Chicago Chapter Meeting

Reading Time: 2 minutes

enVista, a leading global software solutions and consulting services firm, announces today it will lead an educational presentation at an ASUG Chicago Chapter Meeting on March 22, on how to leverage your current SAP extended warehouse management system. The Americas’ SAP Users’ Group is a leading network of business and technology professionals who are passionate about performing at their best and moving their careers forward. enVista will attend the meeting as a Gold Sponsor.

Unveiling the Hidden Value of your EWM

  • Date: Friday, March 22, 2019
  • Time: 10:00 a.m. CST – 11:00 a.m. CST
  • Speakers: Broc Pittsford, Senior Director & Chris Harkema, PMP Director
  • Abstract: Those that have implemented an SAP EWM in recent years could have hidden labor savings of up to 15 percent sitting on their shelves, and all they need to do is take it down to achieve the benefits. EWM has a robust LMS embedded within, and many EWM users are unaware or do not leverage the tool because it was either not a focus of the original implementation or never brought to their attention. This “hidden gem” within EWM can generate previously undiscovered labor savings, optimize productivity, and produce increased visibility across all levels of the warehouse. And the best part is that this tool is already owned by the EWM install base. During this session, enVista will break down EWM, exposing the LMS tool embedded within and how you can realize labor cost savings today.

“Many EWM users are unaware of the LMS embedded within the EWM platform. During our presentation, Chris Harkema and I will discuss the importance of uncovering the ‘hidden gem’ within EWM, and how to leverage the tool to optimize productivity,” said Pittsford.

enVista has strong expertise across SAP’s entire supply chain suite having implemented WMS in 180+ global warehouses, LMS in 200+ global warehouses, and TMS in 75+ global warehouses in the last five years alone. enVista also has ongoing SAP DSC implementations across multiple clients in six countries.
